We cannot fully heal as individuals within a society fractured by centuries of systemic oppression, yet society cannot be repaired without addressing the wounds carried by individuals and communities. Healing intersectionally means embracing both truths: working to dismantle all forms of oppression while fostering deep, transformative healing that spans every intersection of identity.
Intersectional Healing is a healing that crosses all the parts of our identities. It happens on a personal, cultural, and structural level. It is about systemically healing the inner and the outer, and all the layers and nuances that make up ourselves and the world.
Intersectional Healing is a holistic healing with intersectionality at the core: healing people and society, eradicating discrimination, and helping us all thrive together.
We inherited a world with systems of oppression built in. It falls on all of us to actively work together to free ourselves from that inheritance and the negative social constructs that came with it. We look to the pre-colonial past as a place of inspiration and healing, while exploring radical, liberatory approaches that support individual healing across the intersections of our identities. At Intersectional Healing Collective we support organisations in reimagining workplaces in a way that benefits everyone.
Drawing from our global expertise in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), coaching, and healing practices, we have crafted innovative cultural change programmes and a consulting approach that bridge the gap between organisational equity and individual healing. Through the use of our IHC Model, these programs nurture cultural healing within organisations and communities, paving the way for unity, harmony, and love across differences.
As the visionary Bell Hooks once said: "Healing is an act of communion." Inspired by this wisdom, we centre connection and collaboration in all that we do, creating spaces where healing and equity can thrive together. This is why we are a collective, we bring people together, founders, associate experts and clients all come together as one community working towards the same goal of intersectional healing for ourselves, for our organisations and for society.
By sharing tools, strategies and education, we lead people and organisations through systemic change by reconnecting with our roots, to unite and free us all from the social constructs that hold us back.
Kindness, compassion, empathy, innovation, continuous learning and advancing social justice.
These aren’t just words to us, they’re our own seeds for change.
Join us and let's experience intersectional healing together.
