Anna and Sellisha met years ago in the UK, working in DEI consulting. They connected through a common, burning ambition to revolutionise how success in DEI, social justice and wellbeing was perceived. They didn't want to be just "experts in their field" but to acknowledge their own journey too; the integral passion to the work was about exploring their own intersectional healing too.
For an aligned moment, they came together to share their experiences, inspirations and lessons learned as DEI & culture transformation consultants, activists and social justice advocates. This ignited tools, strategies and processes for fostering more equitable organisations where individuals don't have to go through similar experiences they did, whether workplace discrimination and its impact on mental health, crucial, systemic gaps in traditional support systems, or other processes that often fail to address the nuanced realities of minoritisation.
Intersectional Healing Collective then became a collaborative ecosystem of practitioners, partners and communities. The global work is led by a steward, an advisor providing the strategic vision, quality assurance and organisational leadership while bringing together the right people, perspectives and expertise for every collaboration.
The Leadership
With over a decade of international DEI and culture transformation experience, Anna has worked as a Global Managing Consultant, Head of Product, Head of Partnerships, and Director for consultancies, tech scale-ups and non-profit, non-governmental organisations.
Her approach to intersectional healing is inspired by lived experiences and a deep-seated passion for fostering real systemic change. She's led global initiatives for personal and collective transformation, through strategies and programs, rooted in emotional intelligence and corporate social responsibility.
Anna links social justice goals into equitable change management, inclusive wellbeing and personal development. Their work addresses many nuances in identities and cultures such as gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, disability, neurodiversity, age and social mobility. By fostering dialogue and meaningful connections to bridge gaps between different communities, Anna hopes to inspire collaboration and belonging in global contexts.
She is committed to raising awareness, facilitating meaningful conversations, sharing space and stories, and supporting individuals and organisations in their transformation journeys towards sustainable, positive, social impact.
She is currently working also as Head of Partnerships at Helsinki Pride Community - an NGO focusing on LGBTQIA+ inclusion and organising Finland's biggest human rights event.
